Molecular Biology is an exciting field that is continually changing and developing. The study of biology at a molecular level has resulted in fascinating discoveries that influence our lives daily. The goal of this course is to introduce you to the basics of molecular biology and some of the exciting techniques and approaches that have resulted from the study of how biological molecules work and contribute to the function of living organisms.

Prerequisites*:
ZOO or BOT 1114 or BIOL1134
MBIO 3813/3812 (taking concurrently is highly discouraged)
CHEM 3013 or 3053
